My family loves sushi!! I remember being so excited when my oldest son was a toddler and absolutely loved eating sushi. I was so proud and thought it was super cute! Little did I know then that my toddler would grow up to be a 6' 2" teenager who can eat a ton of sushi! Talk about an expensive meal!! So I was thrilled when my friend shared this recipe with me! Now we can have the taste of sushi for just a few dollars. This is always a hit when I make it for parties! And curbs those expensive sushi cravings.
"Sushi" Cream Cheese Spread
Ingredients:
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
3 to 4 tbsp wasabi paste
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Rice crackers
Spread half of the container of cream cheese on a plate with a raised rim.
Add the wasabi paste on top of the cream cheese and spread a thin layer.
Put the rest of the cream cheese on top of the wasabi and spread the top layer.
Pour the soy sauce over top of the cheese mixture.
Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds and serve with rice crackers.
If your family loves sushi, they are going to love this!
