WOW! It is so hard to believe that it has been two years since I first started my blog. You all have helped me through these crazy times and I am blessed, thankful and so very happy to have you all along with me. Thank YOU!
You might be wondering...why did I start this page? I was a busy mom of 3 sports loving, teenage boys who suddenly had and empty calendar and had to stay at home. I did not know what to do with this new found time. I started by catching up in my yard of April 2020. And then, the next thing that I know an ember escaped my burn barrel of sticks and the entire local fire company showed up at our house. And I mean EVERY truck in our local fire company came. They were so excited to be able to get out of the house and I was SO embarrassed. It turns out that my hose was not on and the boys buckets of water and super soaker water guns weren't doing the trick!😉
It was then that I decided that I needed to find a hobby that I loved and felt passionate about...so "Kir's Quarantine Cuisine" began. I have always loved to cook and entertain and I wanted to help my friends out in the kitchen since everyone was stuck at home. I thought that it would be just a month or so but here we are - two years later, and I am LOVING it all!! Since then, Le Cordon Bleu International started following my Instagram page. What a tremendous honor!! And my Facebook page has grown to more than I could have ever dreamed!
I absolutely love getting to know you all. And I love the positivity that this group gives out! Especially during these trying times!! I can not thank you all enough!! Cheers to you all! I am so very grateful!! And am having fun! Hope that you are too! And I hope that you are enjoying my recipes and tips too! Thanks friends!
