I am so excited to watch The Masters on TV this weekend! Is anyone else? It’s a dreary, rainy day and it’s the perfect day to relax and watch lots of golf!
I always admire the inexpensive and classic food menu of The Masters too. One day I would love to try one of their famous egg salad sandwiches.
But until then, I will make my classic egg salad recipe and watch The Masters from the from the comfort of my own couch this weekend. I can't wait to see who wears the green jacket home this year!
Classic Egg Salad Sandwich
Ingredients:
10 hard boiled eggs, chopped
2 tbsp relish
4 dashes of Worchestershire sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp celery salt
Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Fluffy white or wheat sandwich bread
Place the chopped eggs in a bowl and add the relish and Worchestershire sauce. Stir until combined.
Add the mayonnaise, celery salt and pepper and stir until combined.
Chill the egg salad until you are ready to serve.
Serve on two pieces of fluffy white or wheat bread. If desired, cut into triangles or soldiers for pretty tea sandwiches.
Honestly, there is nothing better than a good old fashioned egg salad sandwich!! Always a classic and always delicious!
